Tracking Numbers Required on South Dakota DTC Reports
March 23, 2017
By Kristin Carlton, Vice President of Compliance
Effective July 1, 2017 the state of South Dakota will require common carrier tracking numbers to be included in the direct shipper’s quarterly shipment reports. The tracking numbers listed on the reports received from direct shipper’s will be cross-referenced with those provided by the common carriers and will assist the state in identifying shipments from unlicensed wineries and retailers. Reports without tracking numbers included after July 1st will not be accepted by the state.
The updated template for the report can be found by logging into your EPath account after April 1, 2017.
