Colorado rescinds advanced product approval requirement

Effective August 2018, the state of Colorado will no longer require that brands are registered thirty days prior to being imported into the state.  Previously, importers and manufacturers were required to register brands for approval at least 30 days before the product(s) were able to be sold in the state.  Brand registration is still required, but once an approval is received products can be imported and sold to Colorado distributors.
