Rachel Dumas Rey
In 1997, Rachel established Compli in response to the need for alcohol beverage compliance, especially within the Central Coast wine industry. Known throughout the country as the industry leader in beverage compliance, Compli has served more than 2,500 wineries, distilleries, breweries, wholesalers, and importers.
Rachel and her team at Compli are professional problem solvers. They create and deliver simple solutions to complex regulatory problems with innovative technologies and exceptional service. Compli has earned a reputation as the most trusted group of compliance professionals in the alcoholic beverage industry.
Rachel has served on several wine industry boards and committees, and has lectured on beverage compliance in a variety of professional settings including Cal Poly’s Wine and Viticulture Program and extended education program and the California CPA Education Foundation continuing education seminars.
Before starting Compli, she worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Administration in Washington D.C., and for Seagate Software. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.
